Dr. Susanta Pahari

Dr. Susanta Pahari is a Professor in The Department of Biochemistry, Skyline University, Nigeria.
He has a PhD in Biochemistry, MSc in Biochemistry from University of Calcutta, India. In addition, he also has BSc in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta, India.

He has over 20 years’ of experience in teaching, training, research and administration in India as well as in abroad. He has done his research work in Indian premier institutes as well as in Singapore, Sweden (Stockholm) and Taipei. He has taught in Jain University, CMR University and leading colleges under Bangalore University, India. He has also worked as Director of R&D and Skill Development Programme in India.

He has a multi-disciplinary research interests Genomics, Transcriptomics, Toxin Biology etc., Protein Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Academic/educational Development etc. His research on snake venom is commendable. He is posing 10 international Journal publications to his credit.

He has presented papers in international/local conferences, contributed many book chapters and published papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has established R& D laboratory and accomplished big research projects in his capacity. His some of the past works has great impact on the snake venom composition among varieties of snakes and correlation between food habit and venom composition.   His some of the publication has been published in The Straits Times, Singapore and Deccan Herald, India.
He also regularly writes in peer reviewed journals about the development in Indian education systems. Recently he has got a membership in the Polymer Institute of Nigeria. He is currently working on couple of books on the influence of scientific events in society.
