Skyline University Nigeria

Skyline University Nigeria a unique brand – Marketing chief

What excite you about the Skyline University Nigeria project?

Skyline University Nigeria is the first international university in this region. That alone is exciting. I foresee a positive change in the industry very soon.

What are the immediate challenges and possible solutions?

Well, SUN is relatively new in Nigeria, so we are creating massive awareness within the region and I must say we have had a very fantastic reception so far. Our Chancellor; his Royal Highness, the Emir of Kano, is also doing everything in his capacity to help us settle down for the huge task ahead. Aside that, we are very stable and has been able to navigate through usual hurdles.

What will you suggest the university should take as immediate priority?

At Skyline University Nigeria, we have a long term goal to be one of the leading universities in the country. This is our priority at the moment. We are doing what is required to move us towards the realization of our corporate goal. Such actions include proactive Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), partnership with corporate organizations and producing quality graduates that are ready for the industry.

Compare to other private universities in the country, what do you want SUN to do differently?

SUN have its own uniqueness. Our unique selling point is the fact that we have been in the education industry for over 28 years with proven record of academic excellence through our sister university in the United Arab Emirates, Skyline University College (SUC). Our goal is to replicate same success here in Nigeria. Let me also inform our people out there, particularly individuals seeking qualitative tertiary education, that you can start from our Nigerian institution and at a point, transfer to our sister university in UAE. This is another opportunity the university is offering Nigerians.

What’s your expectation for SUN in the next five years?

We have an existing organizational goal to change the educational space in Nigeria and beyond. I believe with the efforts, dedication and diligence of all and sundry, SUN would be a force to reckon with in the nation’s educational industry in about five years from now. We want to become the most sought-after private university in Nigeria.
