This thesis is concerned with the experimental study of the vibration of the low head centrifugal pumps used for irrigation to declare the effect of : 1.rate of flow. 2.operation head-suotion head. 3.material of suction pipes. The effect of the pumped water temperature on the vibration level of a small model centrifugal pump is also included. The results of the experimental investigation showed that the widely spread flexible hose, which is usually used with the centrifugal pumps used for irrigation, for its flexibility, is not a good solution from vibration point of view. Surface irregularity of the flexible hose rises the level of vibration than that in case of the steel piping. It was shown also that the non-return valve, with the ordinary design is the powerful source of vibration in the pumping system.
