A., e)Supervisor. a)Cairo University. b)Faculty of Engineering./مجمع الطاقة الشمسية بأنابيب الالومنيوم المضمومة a)مجمع الطاقة الشمسية بأنابيب الالومنيوم المضمومة This work presents an analytical study for the performance, orientation, heat balance and temperature distribution of the flat plate collector, together with an experimental investigation for two types of solar collectors, namely the Compact Aluminium Tubes Flat Plate Collector ”APPC”, and the common Copper Tubes between headers Flat Plate Oo Lf.e c toz- ”CFPC”. The absorber of the AFPC is manufactured by the process of roll bond, while that of the CFPC is formed by a number of tubes between headers, soldered to a copper plate to obtain good thermal bond. Throughout the analytical study different items have been studied. The factors which affect the net rate of heat absorbed and heat lost from the collector are discussed.
