This was made public on Wednesday, 20th November 2019 when a team led by the Nigerian Super Eagles captain paid an official visit to Skyline University Nigeria for the official signing of the brand ambassador’s contract by the football superstar.
While speaking at the meeting comprised of members of the university management and team members of the football superstar, Ahmed Musa expressed delight on behalf of himself and the team that he has officially become a member of Skyline University Nigeria especially at a time when the university has proposed to launch a sports academy for aspiring athletes.
He described the agreement as a new relationship with the institution of higher learning that is poised to develop and promote education as well as athletes to compete for honours among themselves. “I would love to be around and make lots of donations to the students of SUN during any sports activity held here at the university”, he admonished.
While making a welcome remark earlier at the meeting, the Head of Sports, Mr. Musa Mohammad, expressed his pleasure at the prospect of improving the level of sports interaction between the Brand Ambassador and the students of Skyline University Nigeria via sports activities. He stated that Skyline University Nigeria welcomes any activity that would add value to the university.
The Registrar, Mr. Firoj Routa, in his comments commended the efforts of the Ahmed Musa-led team at improving the quality and degree of sports activities in the country. He encouraged him (Ahmed Musa) to replicate the same in the development of the students of the university as it was part of the developmental paths to health and national progress.
Other members of management present at the meeting included the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sudhakar Kota, the Director of Operations, Mr. Abubakar Ismail, the Director of Academic Support Services, Ms. Sarada Maganti, and members of the Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Media Department of the university.
