revealed recently, when Mr. Abubakar Sadeeq, the Director of Operations from Skyline University Nigeria, accompanied by the Head of Corporate Affairs, Engr. Bashir Garba paid a courtesy visit to the Zamfara State Government. During the visit, Mr. Abubakar unfolded the plans for collaboration and the opportunities that abound in SUN.
While speaking to an audience comprised of His Excellency, Barr. Mahdi Mohammed Aliyu Gusau, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Alh. Sanusi Alhaji Mode, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Alh. Ishaq Muhammad Zurmi, the Coordinator of Private Schools Exchange, Ministry of Education amongst others, Mr. Abubakar said that there were prospects and opportunities for collaboration on undergraduate degrees at SUN. He requested the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State to find time to visit SUN for its competitive and compelling Programmemes.
The SUN Director of Operations further said that he was interested in long–term relationship with the Zamfara State Government that would see students from Zamfara become jobs – creators in Nigeria and the world over. “The main focus of Skyline University Nigeria is on knowledge, skills and value-based education to groom students who are entrepreneurship and innovation-oriented” he added.
In his remark, Engr. Bashir Garba appreciated the warm reception by his Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State and presented a forty million naira scholarship as a token to celebrate the Government’s 100-days in office achievements. Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has brought an immense wealth of Knowledge & Experience which will bring a new advance means of taking education to greater heights in Northern Nigeria and the country at large.
The University began classes on the 8th of October, 2018. October 2019 intake is currently ongoing for students with JAMB (2018) and a Cut-Off Points of 150. The main focus of SUN is on Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
