According to the letter sent to the Registrar of the University, Mr. Firoj Kumar Rauta, from the IJMB, the approval was sequel to the successful resource evaluation carried out by a team of experts led by Prof. A.O Oyewale on 16th December 2019. The approval enables Skyline University Nigeria to conduct a one-year bridge Programme to allow students gain admission directly into 200 level of an undergraduate Programme.
The human and material resources of the university were assessed by the team and found the quality of resources are of World-class level and are more than sufficient to deliver quality education to the IJMB and degree Programmes in Arts Management, Social Sciences and Sciences. “The approval received is a validation of the quality of the computer labs, library, science labs, classrooms’ facilities among others and standards of faculty members are competent enough to teach the IJMB and degree Programmes at tertiary levels”, says Mr. Firoj.
While thanking the IJMB team for the thorough job done, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sudhakar Kota averred that the university is always open for a relationship that would make securing admission into the higher institution of learning easier. He added that the partnership with IJMB would be a fruitful one. Noting that it is happening at a very good time when the university is ready to take up additional Programmemes in Nursing and Physiotherapy.
Students who may wish to take admission in the IJMB Programmeme, consequent upon completion of ‘0’ level results are encouraged to join Skyline University Nigeria. The results obtained at the completion of the Programmeme can be used to seek Direct Entry admission into Nigerian Universities including Skyline University Nigeria. IJMB is alternative to JAMB.
