Skyline University Nigeria Charged to Sustain International Standard – (CP) Muhammad Wakili

He made the remark on his courtesy visit to the university in preparation for the forthcoming Matriculation Ceremony scheduled to hold on the 27th of April 2019.

One of the agenda & announcements during the commissioner’s visit was the allocation of academic scholarship fund through MOU. “We allocate this scholarship as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the Police Commission, Kano State Chapter similar to what was offered to the Emirates several weeks ago”, said the university’s Pro-chancellor. The MOU will cover workshops and training for police officers in the areas of IT, Customers Service and availability of SUN’s Sports facilities – without any financial implication.

The Kano State number one police officer received the scholarship as a shock as he was not expecting such from the University. The Scholarship Fund Allocation of Skyline University Nigeria is awarded to candidates who demonstrate excellent records and who show excellent professional and personal skills evident through extra-curricular activities in secondary schools.

The modalities of the scholarship, as well as the CGPA requirements, were explained as follow: 10 Students will benefit 50% discount on the tuition fee, whereas 100 Students will benefit the 25% Discount, making a total of 110 Students that will benefit from this scholarship.

“Kano State is safe, security is our top priority and we will continue to collaborate with Skyline University Nigeria for the benefit of all”, CP Wakili added. He pledged “I will physically be present at the event”.
