The management of Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has conducted a two-day orientation exercise for returning students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The program, conducted from the 2nd to 3rd of October 2024, is part of the university’s initiative to equip the students with personal development skillsets that will support them in having a successful higher education experience.
In her opening remarks, the Dean of the of the School of Arts, Management and Social Sciences (SAMSS), Dr. Sudha Mavuri, said the exercise is very important for students’ success and also prepares them for future endeavors. She said she is confident that the students will remember the learning outcomes of the programs as they prepare to go into the industry.
The Dean of the School of Science and Information Technology (SSIT), Dr. Senthil Kumar, emphasized the need for the students to prioritize technology in their studies. He said education keeps transforming as technology evolves, which is why the students need to keep updating their knowledge.
Some of the faculty who spoke during the exercise include Dr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Musa Innocent and Dr. Abubakar Ali Chifwang, among other faculty from different departments at the university.
