Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has hosted schools in Kano State for its open day session that was conducted on Saturday, 22nd February 2025. The session was held at the university’s ultra-modern Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso auditorium, hosting students of Usman International School and Yandutse International School.
In his opening remarks, the Vice-Chancellor of SUN, Prof. Ajith Kumar V. V., said the university is overjoyed to host the schools for the open day session. He applauded the management of both the schools to accept the invitation of the university to participate in the program. He encouraged the students to explore and understand better how to select their future careers.
Lecturers from the Schools of Science and Information Technology (SSIT), Basic Medical Sciences (SBMS) and Arts, Management, and Social Sciences (SAMSS) participated in presenting to the students the enormous opportunities available for the students in various disciplines today. In their respective presentations, they encouraged the students to learn computer skills and other required skills such as emotional intelligence and financial literacy. These, they said, will help the students to have smooth sailing in their careers.
Delivering the closing remarks during the event, the Director of Public and Government Relations (DOPR) at the university, Ms. Sarada Maganti, applauded the students for their attentiveness and participation throughout the session. She said she is certain that they will use all the learnings they have gained to make wise selections for their future careers.
