The management of Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has organized a two-day orientation for new staff that have joined the institution. The event was conducted from May 23rd to May 24th, 2024, at the conference hall of the university.
In his opening remarks, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ajith Kumar V. V., appreciated the staff for joining the prestigious institution. He said since its inception, the university has attracted professional minds within and outside the country, making it the number one university in internationalization as per the National Universities Commission rankings for 2021–2022.
The registrar of the university, Mr. Ahmed Muhammed Abdullahi, who was present at the orientation exercise, explained that the session was done to familiarize the staff with the special modus operandi of the institution. He said it will enable them to maximize their potential by providing their best professional experience.
In her remarks during the session, the Director of Government and Private Relations (DOPR), Ms. Sarada Maganti, said SUN is an institution of great repute and has several collaborations with both private and public institutions in Kano State and beyond. She said the university is always abides by educational policies in the country to ensure it is well grounded in providing value-based education.
Other people who spoke during the orientation session include Mr. Trimisiyu Omotayo Lawal, the Head of Sports Department, Mr. Musa Muhammad, and the Centre for Continuing Learning executive, Mr. Abdulganiyyu Abdulkareem, among others.
