This was emphasized by the Vice-Chancellor of Skyline University Nigeria, Professor Sudhakar Kota during his seminar for the NAPPs members organized by Skyline University Nigeria, on Thursday, February 13th, 2020.
During his presentation at the seminar on the theme ‘Strategic Visions in Educational Institutions’ he noted that the digital era is changing fast and the replication of the knowledge of previous years may not suffice to address challenges of the present and future day.
According to VC, the purpose of the training was to invite good initiatives from everyone present in the Programmeme to provide strategic visions and educational leadership in their institutions, so as to realize meaningful actions that can help them in the implementation of digital skills, quantitative reasoning and communications skills that are key to boosting students’ learning capacity, increase their access to information and boost their entrepreneurship creativity and employment.
He posited that the introduction of the concept of knowledge and skill-based education in secondary schools will groom the students and prepare them into the university curriculum. Hence, Proprietors, through strategic leadership can make an enabling environment for students to thrive in their various career endeavors.
He reminded the audience that Skyline University Nigeria being the first international private university in North West, Nigeria, will remain committed to the visions that led to its establishment.
In a goodwill message the Deputy National President of NAPPS, Hajiya Maryam Magaji, appreciated the management of Skyline University Nigeria for the continuous investment in the society. She charged participants to make the most of the opportunities that the ‘Strategic Visions in Educational Institutions’ seminar highlighted.
