Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) was well represented recently, as officials of the University pulled the attention of students, parents and dignitaries during the 13th Graduation Ceremony of Yandutse College. The SUN officials, being led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ajith Kumar V.V and the Director of Academic Support Services, Ms. Sarada Maganti, was comprised of representatives of the Marketing Department, Media and Communications Department, as well as a Faculty, who responded to inquiries from people who desired information that would help them make decisions about the admissions criteria in Skyline University Nigeria.
The Skyline University Nigeria’s stand was full of activities. During interactions, questions from prospective students concerning admissions requirements, courses, and fees were addressed. The event, in summary, gave first-hand information about available study options, academic Programmemes, study requirements, the university community, local scholarships (if any), Continuous learning Programmemes such as CTH, ACCA and Chinese Learning, as well as career advice to students, as they planned for their academic lives.
Skyline University Nigeria is the first international private tertiary institution in Kano, licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in May 2018 with Bachelors’ degree Programmemes in International Relations, Mass Communications Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Business Administration and Economics in the School of Arts Management & Social Sciences (SAMSS). Others are Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics with Electronics, Computer Science and Information Systems, Software Engineering and Geology under the School of Science & Information Technology (SSIT).
Primarily, the goal of the university is to be recognized both locally and internationally as the citadel of academic excellence. The university boasts of quality staff and faculty members drawn from different parts of the world and provides an enabling environment for teaching and research in various fields of academics. The campus facilities are unique and in compliance with global standards in teaching, learning and research.
Earlier in September 2021, the University has received a resource verification visit from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in preparation for the commencement of undergraduate Programmemes in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Tourism and Hospitality Management. This visit by the NUC has reiterated the university’s conformity to the expectations of the regulatory body.
