The students of Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic Kazaure have applauded the SUN library, ICT laboratories and other facilities they toured at the university. SUN has, on May 16th, 2024, received students of Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic Kazaure on an excursion visit to explore the world-class teaching and learning facilities available in the universities.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Amina Muhammad, the assistant librarian at SUN, who spoke on behalf of the head librarian, said the university is pleased to receive the students’ team. She admitted that the visit will surely strengthen the existing collaboration between the two institutions.
Delivering his remarks, Mr. Hussaini Magaji, a senior lecturer at the Department of Library and Information Science at the polytechnic, expressed their utmost satisfaction with the warm reception they received at the university. He recalled that SUN donated books to the polytechnic some months ago, which has helped their institution greatly.
Mr. Magaji then appreciated the efforts of SUN in fostering collaboration in research, community service and academic excellence with other institutions in the country. He led his team, which includes Mr. Hashiru Hafeezu, Lecturer 1 at the Department of Library and Information Science at the polytechnic and about 70 students.
The team toured the campus, headed by Ms. Muhammad and Mr. Abdukawiyyu Mustapha, the library executive, where they had an exclusive opportunity to visit SUN ICT laboratories, the library, the ultra-modern common room and the gymnasium.
The students appreciated SUN management for accepting them to visit the campus. They admitted that the environment is certainly one that will support youths in reaching their maximum potential.
