Students of the School of Basic Medical Science (SBMS) at Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) have paid a visit to the Kano Zoological Garden. The students are currently in their first year of higher education at SUN Campus.
The visit is part of SUN’s thoughtfulness to ensure students are familiar with the Kano State environment and explore its rich cultural heritage. In his remarks, Mr. Abdulsalam Mustapha, a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at SUN who accompanied the students, said the zoo visit presents a special chance to learn about different animal species from all around the world.
He added that “the students get up close and personal with the creatures, watch how they behave, and discover fascinating information about their habitats and conservation initiatives.” The students would also develop interests in sustainability and conservation.
