The management of Skyline University Nigeria has adopted a virtual learning approach to ensure academic activities are not disrupted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. This was announced by the university’s management on 25th of March, 2020, following the directives of the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Mr. Shehu Awwal, a Cybersecurity and Penetration Testing Expert with ShawSec, giving his training on the theme, ‘Ethical Harking: OS Internal, Reconnaissance & Exploitation’ to the Computer and Information Science students of Skyline University Nigeria IT Hub on tackling cyber-crimes, has on Saturday, 21st March 2020 listed skills required to be a successful Cybersecurity professional.

Skyline University Nigeria, in a bid to ensure academically-sound graduates who can express practical functionality on their jobs is partnering with Seven-Up Bottling Company Ltd, a soft drinks manufacturer to revolutionize the education sector through the promotion of Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme opportunities. The partnership is expected to facilitate skill training, boost employment employability, promote entrepreneurship opportunities and increase students’ field experience outside the four walls of the university.

A Cyber Security and Penetration Testing expert, Mr. Shehu Awwal, the CEO and founder of ShawSec, in collaboration with the Computer Science Department of Skyline University Nigeria, through the Head of Department and founder of SUN IT Hub, Dr. Ahmed Abba Haruna, has trained Computer Science and Software Engineering Students on Tackling Cyber Crimes.
