Dr. Shahid Khan is working with Skyline University for quite some time, he holds a Ph.D. from Trinity University, United States, a Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Bachelors of |Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin, USA. He acquired the highest hospitality industry designation Certified Hotel Administrator, (CHA) from American Hospitality & Lodging Association USA and he regularly maintains his title with regular updates and recertification process. He is also a recognized Hospitality Industry Faculty by the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Dr. Khan has developed a curriculum and training manual handbook for the College students. He regularly attends’ sessions and certification courses from Harvard Business School, on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies and the University of California- Berkeley, The Science of Happiness.
Dr. Khan has been into academic teaching and training and development for over 20 years in the United Arab Emirates, USA, Canada and Nigeria. He has worked for the hospitality industry in the United States and Asia with various well-known hospitality brands, such as Marriott, Sheraton, Hyatt, Registry Inter-Continental Hotels and various restaurants and fast food chains in USA. He also provides consultancy to hospitality and tourism operations. Dr. Khan holds a patent on innovation from the USA and has Canadian Trade Mark to his name.
Dr. Khans’ ability to build a highly motivated team; which focused on achieving revenue-generating goals and building team spirit has made him a true industry professional. He provides mentorship to his students and colleagues. He has attended many international trade shows on a regular bases, such as Arabian Travel Mart, United Arab Emirates, ITB Berlin, WTM London. Hotel and Restaurant shows’ in the United States.
