Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) conducts undergraduate programs leading to the award of Bachelor of Science in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics with Electronics, Mathematics, Computer Science & Information Systems, Software Engineering and Geology. These courses are equipped to meet the needs of dynamic local, regional, national and global level industries. A student studying at SCHOOL OF SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SSIT) will be exposed to different subjects of Sciences, Mathematics and Information Technology which will help him to be a good professional. It will help to increase national competitiveness. University education in Nigeria will provide much needed man power to accelerate the socio economic development. Therefor it creates an opportunity to Skyline University Nigeria to provide an atmosphere of academic freedom and culture and research which can provide a platform for providing liberal education which makes young people better prepared. The university is conscious of importance of Science and technology for the development of the nation. Therefore it is introduces a series of science subjects which can be useful to create new body on knowledge for various industries. Our effort to be to foster the pragmatic industry and government. Demonstrate an understanding of various concepts of different subjects in the area Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physic Science, Mathematics & Computer Science and Geology. Demonstrate application of skills in communication, numerical ability, computing ability to solve societal requirements. Demonstrate capacity for critical enquiry, logical thinking, and use analytical skills to solve problems of industry and society. Synthesize theory and practice within the sphere of their respective subject for its effective application for industry. SUN ensures that the SSIT curriculum is distinctive and superior in nature. It significantly extends the knowledge and nurtures intellectual maturity to probe into the depths of knowledge and to specialize in skills with a sense of creative independence. The student is thus enabled to accomplish the goals as anticipated in the program and transfer them to the professional areas. SUN endeavors that all SSIT programs are linked to industry / organision through SIWES and Project works. The SSIT programs are carefully planned and directly related and appropriate to the mission and purposes of the institution as well as the goals and objectives of the respective degree programs. As for as Program instruction is concerned, SUN adequately supports and critically evaluates experimental and teaching methods to improve instruction, ensures that each student enrolled in the course receives a Course Delivery Package (CDP) on the first day of the class that includes the following: Moreover, SUN uses regular evaluation of all courses; instructional pedagogy and feedback through a well-developed Institutional Effectiveness System. The curriculum provides the student with General Studies, Core, Required, Electives and Specialization courses in their respective Undergraduate programs. All students perusing undergraduate must complete all 132 credits to graduate. The general studies program at the undergraduate level is designed to develop a well-rounded personality. General Studies Programme (GST) are the programs students from every school are expected to take. All students are expected to sit and pass all stipulated GST courses. These courses aim at improving communication & interpersonal skills along with instilling in students lifelong learning attitude.
