VICE CHANCELLOR'S COURTESY VISITS

SUN Vice-Chancellor pays courtesy visits to Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education, ADUSTECH, BUK and YUMSUK

The Vice-Chancellor of Skyline University Nigeria (SUN), Prof. Ajith Kumar V. V., the registrar, Mr. Ahmed Muhammed Abdullahi and the DOPR, Ms. Sarada Maganti, have today, 5th September 2024, paid a courtesy visit to Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education, Kano. Their visit was done to establish and cement ties that will allow both institutions to collaborate in teaching, research and other academic engagements.

The team was received by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr. Yahya Bunkure. In his remarks, he applauded the move by SUN Vice-Chancellor to visit the university. He said that both universities will support each other immensely to elevate the status of higher education in the state and beyond.

In a similar event, the Vice-Chancellor of SUN, the registrar, the DOPR and the Director of Marketing and Communications (DOMC), Mr. Abubakar Sadiq Isma’il, paid a courtesy visit to Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, on September 4th, 2024. The visit was also to seek collaboration in research and global standard academic engagements.

SUN Vice-Chancellor paid a courtesy visit to Bayero University Kano (BUK) and Yusuf Maitama Sule University (YUMSUK) on Tuesday 3rd 2024. The team first paid a congratulatory visit to the new registrar of BUK, Mr. Haruna Aliyu. As the preceding registrar of SUN, the Vice-Chancellor of SUN lauded his hard work as the ladder with which he attained the great position. The team then prayed for his successful tenure in office.

The team then proceeded with a courtesy visit to YUMSUK. Welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor of YUMSUK, Prof. Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, who was in attendance during the first combined convocation ceremony of SUN last year, he highly acknowledged the visit.

Together, they shared rich insights on collaborative engagements on research and other academic activities.
