Speaking on the purpose of the team visits to Skyline University Nigeria, the NANS Public Relations Officer, Comr. Babatunde, accompanied by Comr. Farida Adebimpe, Comr. Deborah Gabriel, Comr. Mariam Abdullahi, Comr. Zahradeen Yahaya and Comr. Mujahid Sadeek says,
“Skyline University Nigeria has shown great creativity, innovation and originality in what the institution sets to achieve in Nigeria and the world over. The use of ICT enabled facilities in the overall operation of the university has echoed the values of this vibrant institution of higher learning”.
The award was given “in recognition of patriotic contribution to the field of education, selfless service to humanity, Kano State and Nigeria as a whole”. The platinum award of excellence presented to the Vice-Chancellor was signed by the president of the National students’ body, Danielson Bamidele Akpan.
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor stated that “Skyline University Nigeria is built on the core values of skills and value-based education that is geared towards addressing issues of national development”. He tasked the visiting team to ensure that there is a passion to cub the menace of drugs amongst Nigerians youth.
Also present at the meeting were members of management of the university, the Director of Operations, Mr. Abubakar Sadeek, the Director of Academic Supports Services, Miss Sarada Maganti, the Head of Corporate Affairs, Engr. Bashir Garba and the Corporate Affairs Executive, Ms. Nafisa Mohammed Inuwa.
