Murtala amongst other executive members of the council, has applauded Skyline University Nigeria for its Entrepreneurship and Skill Acquisition approach for students, saying “Skyline University Nigeria through its entrepreneurship and skill acquisition approach will give a rewarding experience to students”.
The NUJ chairman who said this during a courtesy call on the Registrar, Mr. Firoj Rauta in the university campus, as part of an official visit on Thursday, September 26th, 2019, agrees that the university’s approach in taking cognizance of the commercial nature of Kano into developing a unique system will make Skyline University Nigeria stand tall.
The SUN Registrar, while giving a situational report of the State of the university and the plans being put in place in driving quality graduates, said education should be driven by Knowledge, skill-based and practical experience relating to the demands of the markets/industries, adding that hope to inculcate robotics and other hands-on learning experience is part of what the students stand to enjoy as they return next week into the 2019/2020 academic session.
Earlier in the welcoming address, the Head of Marketing, Mr. Ahmed Bello, the Director of Academic Support Service, Mrs. Sarada Maganti, the Head Librarian, Mr. Kabiru Danladi, amongst others, appreciated the NUJ for what it stands for in truth and justice as the weapon that can change the world completely. He also appreciated the team of the NUJ for visiting Skyline University Nigeria for the first time since its commencement in 2018.
In the course of the visit, The NUJ team toured the ICT facilities, including the Computer Laboratory, the Server room, the JAMB CBT Centre, the Entrepreneurship laboratory as well as the Library, the Lectures theatres, the Chemistry and Physics Laboratory and the sports facilities.
