Let’s Talk About the Year so Far – Did You Meet Your Goals

As students, we often make promises and set goals we do not understand and eventually, find it difficult to follow through with them. It’s not because we don’t want to achieve such goals, but it appears that a greater capacity was required to make good of our goals. A new academic year is here again and students across Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) campus (New and existing) will need to come up with new goals to better themselves physically and mentally.

It is important to set goals early, at the beginning of a new academic year in order to bring order to our lives and to make studies better and fun, to become better organized and put our best foot forward with new resolutions for 2021-2022. Then, see how the smallest changes can make a huge difference in our personal, academic and professional life.

In the beginning of 2020/2021 academic year, we wrote about ‘Goal setting – what we can do differently’, which discussed issues such as studying smarter, communicating differently, trying new things, amongst others. This was done with the hope to keep students afloat, to reach their dreams. Many of the students who participated, did not only set goals but improved tremendously across all boards.

In addition to these, we also organized webinars, to inform and educate students about setting up and maintaining academic and career success in their lives. Arguably, all these with the university’s ‘thoughts for the day’ amongst other events were laid out, step-by-step to develop a fine graduate at the end of your study year in Skyline University Nigeria. Further, to fulfill our promise of unmitigated support that would prepare you for your career journey.

To this end, we encourage you to set new goals, moving into the 2021/2022 academic year with clear objectives. We are with you all the way, to guide you through the steps, now and always.
