During the past few months, Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has witnessed many new and inviting developments. One of these developments is the ongoing project that will initiate the hope of science students looking to gain admission in Nursing and Physiotherapy science at Skyline University Nigeria. This development as described by stakeholders of the university is “the next big thing for prospective students”.
Skyline University Nigeria has come a long way since its inception in 2018. Of course, the management had a great vision for the university, which continues to remain a work in progress, following new and exciting opportunities for prospective students looking to acquire not only the required skills and knowledge needed in the workplace but also to be part of the contributors to National development.
A view of the nearly completed state of the ongoing infrastructural development within the SUN campus for the Nursing and Physiotherapy department, one would observe that it’s uniquely different from the usual settings of other facilities in the university. It was designed to complement and support biomedical services as well as foster collaborations amongst researchers. The university has also ensured that all requirements and arrangements for accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC) are thoroughly and carefully observed.
Interestingly, all the Programmemes run by the institution are fully approved by the NUC, an indication that the plan meets national quality assurance requirements and established industry requirement which is key to building confidence.
These courses are part of the university’s strategic plan and expectation to serve the health care needs of the communities across Nigeria, as well as the global world. SUN has the vision to aspire, to be an internationally recognized institution of excellence in higher education, by providing a technologically enabled platform for innovative research and education with a focus on creativity and entrepreneurship. Part of aligning this vision is the university’s preparedness for Nursing Science, physiotherapy as well as Tourism management.
