This was contained in a letter sent to the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Sudhakar Kota, by the participant, through the Centre d’Étude et de Coopération Internationale (CECI) and World University Service of Canada (WUSC), the organizer of the International Forum which is held annually to explore current issues in the field of international development under the main theme: “2030 and Beyond: Solutions Without Borders”.
“This event aims to stimulate thoughts, foster discussions and encourage action, in order to find innovative and efficient solutions for the future of the planet, the future of populations, and the future of work”, the letter reads.
As a speaker at the International Forum 2020, the 200 level student of Mass Communication will have the opportunity to share lessons learned from her experiences with all the participants and thus she will contribute to build innovative solutions for a future where no one is left behind.
Aisha will be privileged to speak to over 600 participants including constituent members of WUSC and CECI – students and members of student local committees, former international volunteers as well as partners from private sectors, from developing countries, academics, researchers, Canadian development NGOs, representatives from federal and provincial governments and the general public interested in international development issues.
