Welcoming the guest speaker, SUN registrar, Mr. Ahmed Muhammed Abdullahi, said Mr. Anantram Ganapati is an experienced leader whose knowledge spans over 40 years of selfless service. He explained that it is his expertise that has enabled him to have an impact on many people in the world, in addition to the books he has authored. He expressed his appreciation to SUN management for inviting him to share his wealth of experience with SUN staff.

In his lecture titled ‘Building an Institution: Everyone’s Responsibility’, Mr. Ganapati stated, “Wherever you are as an individual, your institution serves as a kickoff platform.” He admitted that the institution helps individuals nurture their dreams and aspirations, thereby enabling their personal growth.

He advised the staff that they should never compromise their ethics, brand or values for organizations, but always remember that they are incontestable components that support institutions to thrive. Mr. Ganapati said that every institution needs to have the team as its theme.

He added that staff must always place themselves below their organization and simultaneously work towards synchronizing personal goals and organizational goals. He then summarized critical areas such as orienting students, being transparent, building trust, collective individualism, among others, as instrumental in helping institutions grow.

Mr. Ganapati also tasked the faculty with keeping up with technology trends so as to deliver effective knowledge to the students.
